Volunteering Opportunities
Will YOU follow the Bear?
Warwickshire County Committee is currently a small, but incredibly dedicated group of volunteers that work their socks off to try and deliver the Warwickshire County Netball Association plan that is centred on developing and supporting netball within the county. It is the umbrella organisation that acts as a link between local netball and our National Governing Body, throughout the county from Rugby to Stratford, Nuneaton, Coventry, Solihull and everywhere in between.
The current committee members oversee a multitude of areas that include affiliations, local leagues, county/satellite academies, schools netball, marketing, coaching and officiating development, bursaries, safeguarding and county planning to name but a few of their responsibilities. We all know the saying that ‘many hands make light work’ and as a county we are really keen to get more people involved, not just to share the workload, but also to make sure that we have a good representation of members from across the county and clubs. It might be that you cant commit all the time, or perhaps you are looking to gain experience as a volunteer for a CV or maybe you would like a greater insight to sports development. If you are even slightly interested or curious to find out more, we would love to hear from you. Please contact Netball Development Officer Georgi Rettey georgina.rettey@englandnetball.co.uk |
