COVID-19
Before we all get back playing, it is important that we understand the guidelines that our Governing Body, England Netball, have put in place and agreed with the Government in order for us to return to the court safely.
We have welcomed the news that Netball will be moving into stage 4b as of the 26th September (roadmap)
We have welcomed the news that Netball will be moving into stage 4b as of the 26th September (roadmap)
Now is the time for members of Warwickshire County Netball Association to work together to ensure we can safely manage this transition and ensure netball keeps moving forward to further stages.
It is important that you take the time to understand these guidelines because training and competition will look very different from the last time we played. Warwickshire County will be working hard to ensure that netball returns to our lives as safely as possible and your cooperation in this is vital!
We need to encourage our members to renew their membership for the 2020-2021 season. There is a 30% discount available if taken before 30th September. Membership is a lot more than just gaining access to play in leagues. Memberships provide valuable support to clubs, leagues, academies and so much more - please see attached flyer as to what services WCNA provides to members.
FINALLY Have Fun! We couldn’t be happier that we can now #RiseAgain!
We all have a responsibility to keep our clubs and team mates safe
OPT IN PROCESS – NO PRESSURE
There is no pressure from anyone within the netball family to return if they are uncomfortable with the risks due to their own personal situation, or that of a close family member that they live with.
When you feel comfortable, you will be welcome back to netball, but in the meantime, if you choose not to you will very much still remain a member of our netball family. You will be asked to tick an OPT in box when you complete the Training Registration Sheet
